D-Link DES-1008P 8-Port Desktop Switch featured four 10/100BASE-TX ports that support the IEEE 802.3af PoE protocol. In this desktop switch, all PoE ports can supply up to 15.4 W for a total PoE budget of 56 W, allowing users to attach an IEEE 802.3af-compliant device to the DES-1008P without requiring additional power.

You can Quickly and Easily set up this Desktop switch. No configuration is required. This desktop switch support for auto-MDI/MDI-X on all ports eliminates the need for crossover cables for connection to another switch or hub. The Auto-negotiation on each port senses the link speed of a network device (either 10 Mbps or 100 Mbps) and intelligently adjusts for compatibility and optimal performance. This switch will be automatically adjusted to fit the device, when an IEEE 802.3af-compliant device is attached, power is supplied to that device. The DES-1008P also features with diagnostic LEDs, which display status and activity, allowing you to quickly detect and correct problems on the network.
